Jackson........
Far more than a beloved dog
He has changed and brought joy to many lives. The smiles he brings to peoples faces can not be counted in numbers. He was born in Truckee and has lived in North Lake Tahoe since. 
He has stood by me with faithfulness and love for ten years. 
Jackson means more to me than life itself and I can never turn my back on him.
Until lately he was my trail running partner and we have run many miles together around Tahoe and he has chased many a bear and coyote from our path. 
Late September he was diagnosed with lymphoma and I saw the hurt in his eyes begging for help. After lab work determined he was a good candidate for chemotherapy, we started a 25 week course a few days later. He has responded well to treatment and his limphnodes went to normal size within days and the color returned to his bright blue eyes. 
100% of the money raised through gofundme will go directly to his treatment.  I've dedicated my life to making his life as good as I can possibly be, just as he has done for me and many others.  The treatment I have chosen to provide for my boy has been a lifestyle change to say the least and I am quite proud to make the sacrifice for my family. I'm a humble person, asking for help is not something I'm very good at,  however for Jackson I am asking for some help with funding his treatment. I have invested every dollar I can earn to his treatment, which is proving quite expensive.  Every donation regardless of size makes a significant boost to the quality if life we can provide him. 
His treatment is being done by Agate Bay Animal Hospital and Dr. Bree Montana. Thank You for sharing the love between a boy and his dog.
