Our close friend, artist at Red Rocket Tattoo and all around wonderful person Erica Flannes has had some terrible luck, medically speaking. Unfortunately, the young lady has to have a serious surgery to remove a rather terrifying tumor.
After this ordeal, she will be faced with a 5-figure bill to pay. It's such a scary thing that our bodies can revolt against us and it's even scarier that we have to figure out how to shoulder the financial burden. We've put together this campaign to raise money to help her cover her medical costs.
In addition, we're putting together a pop-up benefit gallery show March 27-28 at the new Three Kings Studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Works by tattoo artists from around the world will be exhibited and sold, with all proceeds going directly to Erica.
