Love for Baby Theo and Family

Our precious Theodore "Theo" Omner Ayala is Sam and Anna's third child.  Born on May 26, 2016, he was two months premature, however, from the moment he entered this world, he has been a great example to us all. His mortal life was not in any way easy. He had various complications, undergone multiple surgeries, and spent most of his days in the NICU.

While continuing to balance their lives and caring for their two other children, Nephi and Ammon, Sam and Anna made time to spend countless hours each day with Theo in the NICU. As a family, they were examples to all of those around them. They even prayed together with the nurses and doctors for Theo. To these nurses and doctors, Theo was their hero and inspiration. Theo fought for his life every day and with each breath, he came closer and closer to coming home to his family.

On September 2nd, Theo was released from the hospital and was finally able to be with his parents and brothers.  He had progressed so much and was such a strong baby.


Despite everyone's efforts, our sweet Theo was called home to our Heavenly Father on September 7th. He passed away peacefully in his mother's arms, surrounded by loved ones. Theo surpassed the doctors' expectations of living. He was and is truly a miracle.

We can only imagine what his parents and family members are going through. With all of Theo's medical bills and funeral expenses, it only adds to the burden of losing their angel. We know that Sam and Anna would never ask any of us to help them financially, but this fund is just a small way of showing our love and support for them.
