Leah is a mother to her beautiful daughter Evelyn Grace and is pregnant with baby Hope who is due on mothers day! Leah is a daughter, a sister, a grand daughter, a cousin and a friend to so many! Leah is loved beyond words! Leah is a fighter and plans on fighting like crazy for her two girls! She counts every single day as a blessing the good and the bad! Its always very clear that God is good all the time!
Leah found out after a few months of not feeling well that she had a tumor on her brain stem on Christmas. Life quickly changed for her. She had brain surgery on December 31st where they drilled holes through the tumor so that the spinal fluid could run through ( it was blocked prior causing her have speech issues, migraines, falling down , eye issues ) Days later the biopsy results came back from part two of her surgery and confirmed she did have brain cancer and that its not at this time in science one that they can remove. They said its a stage 2 cancer with sighs of it being a stage 3. She is now back in the Cleveland Clinic and will start radiation very soon while still pregnant with baby Hope! This will last 4-6 weeks and then she will have a break and then welcome Hope into the world and then will start chemo. All of her treatment will be done at the Cleveland clinic which is 3.5 hours away from home so she will be staying up in Cleveland for awhile.
We would like to raise money to help Leah meet her needs right now between travel, staying so far away from home and medical bills. Thank you so much for all the prayers and support for Leah, her daughter Evelyn and baby Hope. Please continue to pray pray pray!!
