Eric Burtson and I landed at San Diego High School at the exact same time, Fall of 1996.  When I first met him, I thought, "This has got to be the geekiest guy ever!"  And I was right...and he quickly became one of my very favorite friends ever.  I've been through and done a lot of educating with Eric, from being roomies, to directing PD, to just laughing a whole lot. 

Now my favorite friend has a glioblastoma bothering him. It's a serious brain tumor.  In true Eric fashion, he is holding up well, positive and cheerful.  My heart is full and heavy, and I want every day to count for him.  For this reason, I'm setting up this GoFundMe account for him, and for Jennifer, his special other, so that they can enjoy to the fullest.
