Love Vehicle: A film by Kelee Williamson-Hall

Donation protected
In the confines of a car, a passionate romance unravels as two queer women must confront their insecurities and the stark reality that love alone can't mend their fractured bond.

A note from the Director

Love Vehicle is about letting go of something you love, not because you want to but because it is “probably” what’s best for everyone involved. It is about the pain and relief that comes with finally being honest about that.

With this film I want and almost need to say, to myself and others, that not every relationship works out and that’s okay. That just because things had to end, doesn’t mean the love or the great remembrance of it is erased. In fact, in spite of it, it can sometimes be felt even stronger and life will still go on. It is but a fraction of the experience of life.

I want Love Vehicle to mean hope, I want it to mean clarity. I want it to mean love and loss. The grieving of a person who is still alive in a world that’s just not yours anymore. I want it to mean courage, self honor, confidence and fear as one whole grasp.
