F*ck Cancer!!! I really don't know any better way to start this, then with that. This past week the Moell family got news that noone can ever be prepared for. What was meant to be a visit to the hospital for not feeling well, ended up with a diagnosis of being diabetic, but that was only the beginning. During all the initial tests to find out what was causing his symptoms, they came across a tumor in his Pancreas which turned into heartbreak for the Moell family. Brian Moell, husband to Jo Ann Moell (Heckle) , and father of Avery and Nolan, was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. Its without question the family is devastated. Brian met with the oncology team and was told that the tumor is contained to the pancreas, that it was found it in the early stages. He begins chemotherapy next week and will be on that for 4-6 months to help shrink the tumor and kill off the microscopic cancer cells throughout the body. Then he will have surgery to remove the cancerous tumor. Following up after surgery with more chemo.

The future is uncertain as to how his body will react to the chemotherapy and with Brian being the sole provider for his family, financial stress is something they shouldn't have to deal with. The last thing he needs is to worry about things like his mortgage getting paid or food in his fridge for his family. Joann has been my friend for over 30 yrs and I went to school with Brian as well. They are the cutest most ass backwards couple ever. If you know them, you know. Lol. Thats why so many people love them both. Myself along with many others in our home town of Goshen are going to do everything we can to help Jo and Brian through this difficult time.
