Soo on the night of July 4th we suffered a hate crime and an attack on our property. The love tank which is our tour vehicle we use to spread love to the community was broken into, windows smashed in, doors smashed in, rearview mirrors knocked out and several items are missing our unaccounted for.

Folks at the scene said a person with a large crowbar and claiming to have other weapons came in the middle of the night screaming homophobic slurs and asking "where the f is paperboy". There are a few busy bars next door to the Love Gallery where the Love tank is parked - folks say the person went in to the bars asking for Paperboy, harassing queer black folks and fighting several people. Some have reported broken limbs.

I was asleep at 9pm on the night of July 4 but woke up at 330am to several calls about the love tank being broken into. Just a week ago it was badly vandalized with graffiti and we are still in the process of cleaning that off; figuring out if these two incidents are connected.

Please help donate what you can as we use this vehicle every Wednesday to deliver food to over 200 families in our neighborhood. We hope to replace all parts as soon as possible and we hope to find what was stolen. If you have any info on what happened please let us know.
