On the early morning of February 22nd, Steven and Nicole, whom we love and care about immensely, faced what could only be the most difficult tragedy two parents could face. Their sweet and beautiful baby boy, Logan, was found not breathing in an early morning check. After immediately performing CPR and contacting 911, an emergency crew came to help and raced Logan to the hospital. There was unfortunately nothing more that could be done and Logan passed away after just 8 short months of life.
The death and loss of a child is the ultimate tragedy and nothing could be more devastating. This is because the relationship between parents and their children are among the most intense in life. Much of parenting centers on providing and doing for children, even after they have grown up and left home. A child’s death robs the parents of their ability to carry out parenting roles as it is “supposed” to be.
Logan was truly a miracle to many of us in this family and Steven and Nicole are heartbroken by the loss of their son. Logan will always remain in our hearts and be remembered for the sweet, happy and easy going baby that he was. Mom and Dad would always happily talk about what a sweet baby Logan was and about how he was always so happy and content.
Mom and Dad will be faced with many difficult things in the coming weeks and months, such as hospital bills, funeral costs and missed work to name a few. This campaign is created to remove some of the financial burden that Nicole and Steven face and to provide those that love and care about them, a way to help.
