Love & Support for Tim and Christine's family

During life's joys and challenges, sometimes we find ourselves facing unexpected trials that will test our strength and resilience. Today, we are looking to support a remarkable family dealt a devastating blow.

Tim is a 42-year-old loving and compassionate father and husband residing in the rural community of Madoc, Ontario. He has always cherished the simple joys in life and nurtured an environment filled with love and laughter with his family. However, April 20th, 2023, the diagnosis of rectal cancer has shattered their world. Their pillar of strength, the beloved father and husband has cancer and the treatments available would provide him twelve more months of life.

Since the diagnosis, they have learnt the cancer had spread to the liver and bones. Although chemo treatments started, its progression in his bones broke his vertebrae requiring immediate radiation treatments. Christine, Tim’s spouse, and his three children, all under the age of ten, have stood alongside, pouring their hearts and souls into supporting him through countless medical appointments, treatments, and hospital stays. They have remained steadfast, offering unwavering support and strength during this tough time.

Tim has been an independent truck driver for over fifteen years. Without Tim, the sole income provider, the hardship will soon leave Christine, and the children to pick up the pieces and navigate the overwhelming challenges that lie ahead. The loss of their loving husband and father will leave an emotional void, but also place a tremendous financial burden on the family. Tim worked tirelessly to meet the financial needs for the family, but the family’s stability will soon be financially compromised.

Amidst this heartache, his wife Christine will need the find the strength to financially support the family. Their young children Rosie, age 9, Arlo, age 6, and Jackson, age 5, will have to grapple with the loss of their hero and comprehend the profound changes that will occur in their lives.
