Our beloved Leonard (“Big Len”) has been diagnosed with a very rare lung disease and is now at UCLA Medical Center fighting for his life. He is on a ventilator, ECMO, dialysis, and multiple medications while doctors work around the clock to stabilize him. The road ahead is long, as he will eventually require a double lung transplant.

While Leonard is hospitalized, Heather is facing overwhelming expenses. She recently completed her own fight with breast cancer, and now she must cover housing near UCLA, food, transportation, and mounting medical bills. Leonard, the sole provider for his family, has already been out of work for over two months battling this illness.
