Love & Support for the Lombardi Family

There are several things in life that we go through and bind us to people we know. None more than Traditions. Dan Lombardi is that sort of person that upholds traditions to the highest levels. Like bringing his daughter Julianna to the comic book store to check out if they have new Star Wars comic books or in the beginning of baseball season where Dan takes his son Luke to the card store to buy the newest edition of Baseball Cards. Dan also tries to watch every single Yankee game from 1st inning to the very end. Speaking of the Yankees, nobody we know roots harder and complains louder about his favorite team than Dan. Makes sense right. Yankees are rooted in traditions. From the no names on the back, to the pinstripes, to the bleacher creatures roll call and of course the Championships. Its no wonder why Dan would gravitate towards a team that is steeped in tradition like the Yankees.
Unfortunately as life throws us curveballs, Dan now has to take the biggest swing for his life. Back in March Dan was having severe back and chest pains that caused him to go to the ER. During that visit they found a mass on his lung and some abnormalities in his spine. It was determined to be Stage 4 Non Small Cell Lung Cancer Adenocarcinoma (Non Smoker). While that news definitely caused some shock, fear and unknowns, Dan made the promise to fight and kick cancer in the ass. Since his diagnosis, Dan has been in and out of the hospital. Still dealing with pain daily and unable to work. He was initially placed on a targeted therapy pill, which unfortunately did not work as they planned. He will begin chemotherapy and we hope this comes in clutch. This fund is just some of the ways we can help the Amazing Lombardi family swing for the fences and bring some warmth and support in their time of need. We do this in hoping to preserve the very traditions Dan instills in his family and all of us.
