It is with great sadness that we inform the Rivermount College Community that beloved staff member Julia May, tragically passed away in a fatal car accident on Monday night. Julia’s 2 children Caitlyn (Year 12) and Taylah (Year 10) and her husband Jason are currently all in a stable condition in hospital.

This very tragic and sudden passing has left a hole in the College Community. Julia was one of a kind. She always exuded the most beautiful energy and was known to all the parents as the bright and forever joyful Teacher Aide with the most genuine and kind heart.

The Families and Friends Association has started this GoFundMe page in the hopes that the Rivermount College Community will come together and show our support for her family at this time. Jason and their 2 daughters are going to need all the help they can get while they try and piece their life back together after this tragic loss. We are hopeful that the money raised here will assist them with the many unforeseen expenses they will now incur as they navigate through this trying time.

Julia was a cherished member of our community who will always be held in our thoughts.
