Love & Support for Jill Jensen

Hi family & friends,

Jill is one of my dearest friends. She is inspiring, strong, intelligent, beautiful, and the glue that holds her family strong.

As you may be aware, she fought off breast cancer 3 years ago and has been in remission. Weeks ago she unexpectedly found out it has returned. It has taken up residence throughout her skeleton and very sadly it is here to stay. Her diagnosis is Stage 4 Metastatic Bone Cancer.

She’s received some treatment and is taking medication to help the pain and strengthen her bones. Our hope is that in the months to come, her bone pain will improve and her functional status will improve.

At the moment she is not able to continue her normal routines (cooking, cleaning, taking the children to extracurricular activities, running errands, etc), nor is she able to work. At this time her daily activities include going to appointments, eating, and resting.

With this drastic lifestyle change we want to provide the most support we can to help Jill and her family in the months ahead.

Jill is loved by so many and needs her community to rally around her right now.

There are some important things Jill would like to do and with a boost from us this will ease some of the monetary stress to make these things possible.

Having relocated to the Hunter Region she has become a regular at the local wholefoods co-op. They sell fresh local produce which we would like Jill to continue to buy to provide nutritious food for Jill, Anouk & Jono.

Jill is also planning a photographer to take some beautiful photos of the family to cherish memories and then buy a special photo album as a keepsake for the children.
