It is with great urgency that I request help on behalf of Grandmother Margaret. A tree fell on her home and she is financially unable to make the necessary repairs to ensure her safety. Initially, I was contacted by Ms. Margaret to assist her with listing and selling her home. During our conversation, I realized that she did not want to sell her home of 30 years. She was only selling because the East Point Inspection issued her citations requiring her to make the repairs or demolish the home.

 

I am pleading with the community to assist Ms. Margaret in her endeavor to save her home. Although the market is "Hot" for sellers, Ms. Margaret would not benefit from the sale of the house because of the home’s current condition. Not only, would she not benefit from the sale of the home, but she would also be forced to find housing in today’s expensive rental market.

 

I am asking that we all display some compassion and generosity by donating so that this 78-year old grandmother is not displaced. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.

 All funds will be for the repairs of Ms. Margaret’s home.
