Hi, my name is Haylee Kupe and I’m fundraising for my best friend, Alex.

After 2½ years of fighting an incredibly tough journey with Stage 4 Liposarcoma, Alex is now receiving palliative care. This fundraiser is to help support Alex and the family with dignity, comfort, and stability during a time no one should ever have to face.

Alex’s Journey

For the past 2½ years, Alex has faced Stage 4 Liposarcoma with more strength and courage than I’ve ever witnessed. Alex has undergone over 70 rounds of radiation, three different types of chemotherapy, and a wide range of both conventional and alternative treatments. Alex has tried countless methods to support and boost the immune system—doing absolutely everything possible to fight this cancer.

Despite relentless determination and resilience, the cancer has progressed, and Alex is now receiving palliative care for the Stage 4 diagnosis. The emotional, physical, and financial toll on the family has become overwhelming.

Alex’s Family

Alex is a devoted parent to three beautiful children, ages 2, 11, and 13, who rely deeply on both their mum and dad. Alex’s husband, Glen, has been by Alex’s side every step of the way. Due to the level of care Alex now needs, Glen is unable to work, which has placed significant financial pressure on the entire family during an already heartbreaking time.
