In honor of my dear cousin Cindy and her late husband, Craig, I’ve created this GoFundMe after so many family members, friends, and even strangers reached out asking how they can support her during this unimaginable time.

In the blink of an eye, Cindy’s world was changed forever.

Her husband, Craig, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind not only the love of his life, but their beautiful baby girl, Sienna, just one month old.

Craig was Cindy’s world and Cindy was his. Together, they dreamed of this life, prayed for it, and waited with so much love and anticipation for the arrival of their baby girl. Sienna was their miracle, the answer to so many prayers sent to earth by her angel sisters Valentina and Sofia. What should have been the happiest chapter of their lives, filled with late-night cuddles, laughter, and new beginnings, has instead become a time of unimaginable heartbreak.

Instead of planning Sienna’s baptism and celebrating her milestones together, Cindy is now facing the painful reality of laying her husband to rest.

Craig was the foundation of their home. He carried so much—emotionally, physically, and financially—and his sudden loss has left Cindy navigating grief, motherhood, and overwhelming uncertainty all at once.

Now, Cindy is facing the unthinkable, raising a newborn without her partner, while trying to manage the responsibilities Craig once held. The weight of this loss is already unbearable, and the added financial strain only makes this journey even more difficult.
