Motherhood is hard; I can’t imagine doing it in a war zone.
Ever since Bella made me a mother, I’ve been hosting an annual Mother’s Day Fundraiser. What began as a personal tradition has become a collective effort, bringing together like-minded/hearted people. Over the past 5 years, we've raised over $24,157.20 for mamas-and by extension children-heroically navigating seemingly impossible circumstances.
This year, I’m supporting Doctors Without Borders, one of the few orgs that delivers free, hands-on medical care for mothers and children in crisis, esp. active conflict areas and refugee camps. Their teams use mobile clinics to reach remote or unsafe areas, saving lives without regard to race, religion, or politics.
Please join me in making a donation and sharing this fundraiser with your circles. Thank you for considering!
