BUILD A BANK OF LOVE FOR LINDY

Hello! To those of you that know Lindy, you may know her as an amazing nurse with a heart of gold, a fierce advocate for her clients, or you may know Lindy as the fun loving, supportive, and caring mom to her girls, wife, sister, daughter, and or friend. Or if you don’t know Lindy that closely, let us tell you that she is one of the most selfless, caring, giving and kind people you will ever meet.

My name is Amy and I know Lindy as the fun loving, supportive and caring sister. Where do I begin... As I am writing this, it's still a bit surreal that we received the call, a couple of weeks ago, that Lindy was diagnosed with B-Cell ALL Leukemia. We thought it was the flu and she would go in, get some medicine, come home, feel better and we would all get the holiday celebrations started. Instead, Lindy had to start treatment right away. Her and her family’s world has changed forever.

With this diagnosis she is forced to stop working for a while and will be in and out of the hospital over the next year or two getting treatments. Lindy is one tough cookie and with her positive mindset I have no doubt in my mind that she will get through this, regardless of how rough the road may be.

Throughout her life, she is one to put herself last, always thinking, giving and doing for others just because she is who she is whether she is doing something for a patient, family member, friend and or complete stranger. She puts her heart into everything! I mean everything! She will never ask for it, but it's time we give back and give her the help she deserves!

The amount of love, calls, texts, messages, support from family, friends and coworkers has been insurmountable and truly amazing! When visiting with Lindy she has shed some tears because she has been completely touched by everyone who has reached out and the amount of support she has received. She definitely has felt the LOVE. Please continue to root for her and send all of the positive vibes, prayers, good juju and strength her way!
