Love like Shawnna

Hi everyone! My name is Nikki Cummings. Shawnna and I went through nursing school together and I’m so grateful to know such a beautiful soul. Despite all the heartache she has experienced in her life she loves fiercely. Three months to the day after losing the love of her life, Shawnna Blanchard found herself living a whole new nightmare. Her only child , 17 year old Jon, was rushed to the hospital after a terrible accident. It was originally estimated that he has burns on 27% of his body. These burns (some of which are 3rd degree) are on his face, arms, hands, and chest. He is currently in the ICU, intubated and sedated. He may require surgery at some point in the future. Shawnna needs to focus on Jon and his recovery. Shawnna is still grieving the loss of her other half. She is understandably exhausted, scared, and heartbroken. This beautiful family has a long road ahead of them. Now more than ever, they need our love and support. Please continue to pray for them.
