Hi, my name is Tracy and I’m fundraising for my beautiful, larger then life, big hearted friend Kelli Whitfield. Kelli is the primary caregiver for her mother Carol Love who has been fighting cancer. Because of Carol’s recent decline, Kelli will need to be off work to care for her mom. Her dad also has health issues which makes the need for Kelli to be present even more. Kelli has applied for FMLA which will protect her position at the hospital however this comes without a paycheck . With the holidays coming and the increase in daily living expenses, she has been put in a position to either pay her bills and feed her family or care for her mother and spend these last moments with her. Carol was diagnosed with Cholioangiocarcinoma in October of 2021. She had a liver resection to remove the tumor in December and was cancer free at this point. In June of 2022 the cancer came back and was given 6 months to live. She is currently in Hospice and on her journey home to the lord.

Carol is the Rock of the family and on November 22 of this year she and her husband will have been married for 55 years. She has 6 wonderful children 29 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Carol has given all of her heart to care for not only her children but also her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She has an incredible faith that she has passed onto them and it will be this faith that guides them in the coming months. Love like Carol for there is no other kind.
