Dear Friends and Family,

We are dear friends of Lydie Rutinduka and we are reaching out with hearts that are both heavy and full of faith.

During what was meant to be a routine visit to the United States over Christmas break, our dear friend Lydie Tetero Rutinduka received an unexpected and life-altering diagnosis: cancer. What began as a short visit quickly turned into an urgent medical journey that no one could have anticipated.

Lydie and her family are among the most warm, welcoming, and faith-filled people you could ever meet—beautiful instruments of God’s love, generosity, and quiet strength. They have spent their lives pouring into others, and now they find themselves in a season where they must receive.

Because of the urgency of Lydie’s condition and the clear leading of God, her medical care is taking place in Indianapolis, Indiana. This has required painful and sudden decisions, including the temporary separation of their family and an unplanned relocation far from home. Through it all, they are holding tightly to their faith—trusting God for healing, provision, and peace one day at a time.

We are believing boldly for God’s healing, while also facing very real and practical needs in this season. Our goal is to raise $200,000 to help cover:

Medical expenses

Essential living costs during this extended stay in Indiana
