As some of you may, or may not know, my Mom, Julie Butterfield’s basement has flooded with sewage and restaurant grease at her small business, Love it Again Vintage Decor & more 2928 Biddle Ave, Wyandotte MI.

This fundraiser is to help cover a portion of her loss, as immediate removal of treasures has to be removed from basement and tossed into three 30 foot dumpsters.

If you are lucky enough to know my mom, then you know what kind and giving person she is. She never asks for help but is always the first one to help others. There has not been one person that has reached out to her for any type of fundraising that she has not responded with more than was asked of her.

Her shop has been a great addition to downtown Wyandotte and a place to showcase and support other small businesses, some of which her encouragement and support has resulted in the openings of additional small businesses in Wyandotte!

To say this flood has devastated her heart and dreams is an understatement. Having to watch her treasures, store fixtures and everything in between dragged out with sewage and grease dripping off of them has been so hard for her. She is a positive person, full of life and love, but this has taken a toll on her and her dreams for the future. A huge setback for sure.
