On March 14, the Fond du Lac river crested to record heights resulting in flooding and catastrophic damage to Bob and Peggy's Lange home. In a mere 20 minutes, flood waters and several tons of river ice washed into their home resulting in total devastation.
What do you take when you must leave everything?
Although Bob struggled to keep the ice from rushing into his home, he was helpless and watched his water heater, refrigerator, and washing machine become submerged. Grabbing precious photos and a few items floating in the water, Bob evacuated and through tears reported to Peg "we lost it all".
Bob and Peg are struggling to work through clean-up and recovery, while sadly having learned their home owner's insurance will not help with the costs.
It is difficult to estimate the loss at this time, therefore we on Team Lange humbly set a goal of $25,000. Please consider donating to this gofundme campaign.
All donations are graciously appreciated, even $5 makes a difference.
What can I do?
1. Please donate as much as you can
2. Please consider promoting this campaign on social media to friends and family
3. Support a future Hamburger/Brat fry and bake sale (date/location TBD)
Bob and Peg were forced to evacuate and are living temporarily at Gary Lange's home (Bob's older brother). Every day brings more hurdles, therefore we ask for help as soon as possible.
