Love, Hope, and Faith for Hayla

Hi!

My name is Siman Nuurali and I am fundraising for my beautiful niece Hayla. Earlier this year we got news no one is ever ready for nor prepared. Hayla was diagnosed with cancer in April and has since been in treatment.

We don't like to use the word battle with cancer because it implies that there's some kind of win or loss to be expected. Hayla is living every day and enduring her treatment and its effects in the best possible way she knows how. With good humor and a spirit so rare in anyone I have ever encountered. However, I did want to tell you about my niece and the kid of young woman she is and has been up to this point.

I am in awe daily of her resilience and the humility with which she is facing this phase of her life. Her faith has restored ours and her belief in all things good has been a sight to see. Hayla is an incredibly wonderful person, loyal, brave and kind to a fault. I know everyone says these things about their families or loved ones but in Hayla's case I can say, it is the absolute truth.

I am raising funds for her life post cancer treatment. I know she will come out of this whole and without having lost her sense of self but I think a reward to help her on her journey is a worthy cause. Hayla has had to postpone her dreams of university until she is healed and I wanted to do something for her that would help get her on feet and the start of her journey when she is ready and able to.

Young people off to college often need a lot of help to start their new lives as adults. This fundraiser will go towards making sure that Hayla is ready for the next phase of her life when she is done with her treatment.
