This is Crystal and David, sister and brother-in-law to Trudy Williams. We are fundraising on behalf of this amazing woman because Rich & Madison need our help!

In 2017 Trudy was diagnosed with a Renal Carcinoma tumor which engulfed the left kidney. Trudy with her let’s do this attitude immediately had her left kidney removed. She was free and clear for 2 years. We all figured YES, she’s in the clear, she’s got this!!! But in August of 2019 a new scan showed a tumor. This tumor was found to be Clear Cell Carcinoma, which is a rare form of kidney cancer. In April of 2020 she had surgery, but it was unable to be removed completely. After months of chemo treatment through Baystate she was sent to Dana Farber in Boston. She underwent months of treatment with Rich and Madison by her side. Showing no sign of improvement the doctors advised radiation through the D’Amour Center for Cancer, in Springfield. Unfortunately, this wasn’t successful.

She enjoyed the recent holidays spent with family and was a super star despite her illness. Over the last few months Trudy has spent many fun nights with friends laughing, playing games and just having a great time. That was our Trudy!! Always full of life, laughter and love! Over the years you could find her singing her heart out where there was local karaoke. The Crest Room, Docs Place and the old Mingles in West Springfield was a few of her favorites! She touched the lives of so many and put a smile on faces of complete strangers over her years through singing and waitressing at Chick fil A, The Hazard Grill and Chi Chi’s. Trudy has that fun loving personality that everyone loves. It shows with everyone who has reached out to send their love!

On 1/18/2022 hospice became involved and are keeping her comfortable at home with Rich & Madison. We are looking to help them plan a future without her. Please consider making a donation to help lessen some of the financial burden Rich will endure. This will help with funeral expenses, medical bills, mortgage payments and otherwise. We cannot tell you how much we appreciate your support, prayers and love during this very difficult time.
