Love for the McElrath Family After the Eaton Fire

Donation protected
My name is Brianna McElrath Panasenco, and I'm one of the "Colorado daughters" of Tim & Dorothy McElrath. Up until January 8, 2025, my parents and their two "SoCal daughters," Fiona and Kerensa, lived together in our family home of 26 years in Altadena, CA.

Due to wildfire danger, the four of them urgently and safely evacuated their home early that Wednesday morning, along with their cats. Like many folks in Altadena, this was the last time they saw their home: their "big blue house" burned down later that morning in the Eaton Fire. It will be a long road of deciding what comes next for them, and how to best restart their lives. With two of us other daughters living in Colorado, it's possible a temporary relocation could occur, but for now they wish to stay local to their Alta/Pasadena communities and restart there. At present, my parents and sisters are working to secure longer-term housing for all four of them to live together again.

With things still being very fluid, we've encouraged them to receive the gathering-round of love and support that their communities near and far are sending them. To those wishing to give financially, this is a good place to do so. And to everyone, prayer for our family is always, always appreciated! ♡
