Love for the Larsons
We are raising funds for the Larson family who have unexpectedly come into a tough time. The last few weeks have been a rollercoaster for Chris, Grace and sweet baby Perry.
Chris had an unexpected back surgery that involved admissions to three different hospitals, medical transportation and a hospital stay. Although he has been discharged, he is still recovering and currently unable to work.
Just days later, Perry had what they thought would be an uneventful heart cath procedure that resulted in some shocking news. There is an aneurysm on his conduit that was placed during his first open heart surgery when he was just one week old. If it were to burst, the chance of survival is much higher inside the hospital than out. So they were admitted immediately for close monitoring while they await their baby’s open heart surgery, scheduled for this week.
For those that don’t know Perry, he is rockin’ an extra chromosome along with CHD. Tuesday (10/29) will be his 6th surgery, 2nd open heart surgery. Wednesday (10/30) is his first birthday and as you can imagine, this was not the celebration Chris and Grace had planned for their baby.
Please remember the Larsons - Chris, Grace and Perry - in your prayers. They need strength and stamina as this chapter is not yet over. They need wisdom to make decisions, confidence in their medical team and peace that passes earthly understanding while this all plays out.
We want to rally around this family during this time and alleviate the financial burden as best we can. They are both unable to work for the unforeseeable future. No gift is too small and all will be deeply appreciated.
