Team Hawkins has had lasting impact all over the world. Several of you and your children have been directly or indirectly impacted by Digger Hawkins and his family through coaching, mentorship, and friendship. Digger gives EVERYTHING to help make kids better on-and-off the soccer field by being a positive influence on young athletes and creating a safe environment for learning the game of soccer.
As some may know, Digger's mum has courageously been fighting lung cancer for the last couple years but recently the family received the sad news that she doesn't have much time left. And while not everyone has had the opportunity to meet his mum, she is a remarkable person that sacrificed her life for her husband and her three boys. No loss is greater then the loss of a mother.
Please note that this fundraiser was created on-behalf of Team Hawkins. As anyone that knows Digger knows that he is extremely stubborn and rarely willing to ask for or accept assistance; a trait that he likely got from his mum. As he and his brothers prepare for this hardship, please consider donating as a tribute to a beautiful woman and as a "Thank You" for everything Digger does for our children.
