Love For the Family of Fale Afoa

Fale and Mary Afoa and their family have been a valuable part of the Ewa Beach community for years. Many family members were around for the founding of Ewa Makai Middle School and have been working there ever since. In fact, many consider the Afoas the first family of Ewa Makai.

Recently, Fale, Mary, and several family left their jobs and their home in Ewa Beach behind to go to Las Vegas in hopes that Fale could receive a much needed kidney transplant. Family always come first. Unfortunately, Fale contracted Covid while he was waiting for his transplant. He passed away on Sunday. He leaves behind family and friends who are grieving for the loss of this wonderful man. The family are now preparing to return to Ewa Beach and bring Fale home. This venture to try to save Fale's life has been financially draining, to say the least.
