Required disclosure: I have known the family for many years. Our families are friends and we are connected by work/school/church. The family knows I am going to arrange for the withdrawal of funds on their behalf. I will make sure the entirety of the raised funds are given to them so they may use it to cover any funeral related expenses as well as general bills while they take time to grieve.

With so much gratitude the family has asked that the GoFundMe be brought to a close. They are incredibly overwhelmed by the support shown by so many. There are so many people they want to thank; from those first on the scene, search and rescue, paramedics, doctors and nurses, family, friends, community, and so many more. Your support through gestures, food, funds, and especially prayers has had an immense impact. They feel your love deeply.
As we close the GoFundMe, they lovingly ask that any further donations be made to the following charities:
To honour Sarah, please give to your local food bank.
To honour Jacob, please give to local kids sport programs or wildlife refuge.
Also, donations to your local search and rescue would be a very meaningful gesture.

Original Description:
On May 3rd, 2020 the lives of our dear friends were heartbreakingly altered. A tragic accident claimed the earthly lives of the youngest two of their 3 beautiful children when a side by side vehicle carrying their entire family rolled down an embankment into a lake. While they begin the process of grieving we want to step up as a community and rally around them.
We would like to cover the funeral costs as well as provide them with enough that they can focus on healing while meeting their bills in the coming months.
Any amount you would like to give is incredibly appreciated.
