Love for the Brosnihans

Hi my name is Cate and I'm fundraising for my friends who are experiencing a serious family emergency.

The Brosnihans (Steve, Sabrina and their beautiful little 5 yr old Leah) are a wonderful local family that I met when our daughters attended pre-school together. They are currently going through something that no one would ever want to endure. While out trick or treating on Halloween with their friends and fellow malverne families Steve began to have an excruciating headache. He walked home to get some rest/pain meds. Sabrina noting that it was out of character for Steve to leave a family outing went to go check on him. Her decision ultimately saved his life. He was rushed to the hosptial where it was discovered that Steve had suffered multiple hemmoraghic brain stem strokes. He is currently still in the Neuro ICU after the first few of many surgeries to come. We are all praying for Steve that he will stabilize soon; the next few days/weeks are critical. Once the medical team deems him stable he will have a very long road to recovery. I have started this go fund me to help with the medical costs and to assist in keeping the family financially stable as they navigate the uncertain future ahead of them.
