On the 7th of April 2020, a clinical nurse sister was taken by her Creator succumbing to suspected Covid19. Her sudden tragic passing left behind her loving husband and her most beautiful legacy, her daughter.
She is a ray of sunshine to those people who were fortunate to meet her. Her beautiful smile mirrors her beautiful heart full of love. Her strong will power to surpass any trial in life and her optimism resonates to everyone.
Lei was a dedicated worker who always put others before herself. She is an unsung Millennial Nurse Hero to all of us who know her personally and to her co-workers who have witnessed her dedication and service to the profession and NHS for the past 16 years.
A selfless person who unconditionally loves her family above all else. A very loving daughter and sister whose compass in life was to make their future happy and secured.
A very caring woman, often regarded by children of her friends as their "Mummy Lei", their second mother.
Leilani is an only girl in a brood of 8. She grew up in a very loving family which centred on love and faith in God in Vigan City, Philippines. In her younger years, she was an active youth community leader, a member of a performance art club, a diligent student and a reluctant beauty queen.
She completed her degree in Nursing from the University of Northern Philippines. She is also a loyal Paulinian who studied at St.Paul College of Ilocos Sur from Kindergarten to Secondary Education.
