Love for Pastor Miller and family

On March 5th, Rebekah Joy Miller was walking across a road and was hit by a car and sustained a great deal of serious injuries.  She had multiple breaks in both legs, fractured vertebra and fractured facial bones.  She was stabilized in the Levine Children’s Hospital.  However about 2:00 Am on March 6th, Rebekah went into cardiac arrest caused most likely by an embolism from a blood clot in her leg.  Her heart was started again but there was concern about the time she had gone without oxygen to her brain.  On March 8th, Rebekah died.  

Rebekah Joy Miller is the daughter of Pastor John Miller and his wife, Lisa.  Pastor Miller has been a great friend to New Salem School, spending countless hours reading to classrooms in the school.  No one can read the BFG like Pastor John Miller.  We want to support his family at this time by sponsoring this Gofundme page to help defray the significant costs associated with the medical expenses as well as final expenses for Rebekah. 

The family is also passionate about supporting awareness about mental illness among teens.  If we are able to raise more than the funds needed to cover medical and final expenses, the family wants to support families with teens suffering with mental illness.
