LOVE FOR PALESTINE

Hi my name is Laura Taylor Carson and I’m a makeup artist from Dublin, Ireland.

Since October I have felt so helpless watching the devastation to the people of Palestine.

In December 2023 I decided I needed to do my small part and thankfully with the help of some incredible people in the Beauty , Fashion , Arts and Media industries I am hoping to make a contribution.

After some guidance I have decided to support UNICEF .

UNICEF are an agency of the United Nations responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide. With their Gaza appeal they are trying to help the 1.1 million children in Gaza whose lives have been destroyed. They estimate that 9,000 children have died and thousands more are injured. Rates of malnutrition are sky-rocketing as families struggle to find enough food to eat. Disease is also spreading rapidly due to crowded conditions, poor sanitation and a lack of clean water and this is on top of the constant bombardment and brutal violence they have been subjected to. Through the money raised UNICEF can supply water purification tablets, blankets and tarpaulins as well as first aid kits to help families in need of urgent medical care. Each kit contains medicines, food, blankets, milk and clean water. I will be keeping you updated as much as I can, thanks so much for helping me make a small difference !
