Love for Nora after Hurricane Ian.
Donation protected
Hello all, the Behavioral Health team at CCHP here in WI is in need of your help. In July of 2022 our BH colleague, Nora Eiche and her husband Peter, packed up their sold WI home and headed to live their dream in Punta Gorda, Florida. It has always been a dream of Nora and Peter’s to live in Florida and it finally became a reality. This is supposed to be one of the happiest times of their lives, but it quickly has turned into one stressor and headache after another.
First, their belongings got lost in transit and they had to move in without any of their things for quite some time. Then, they had to get their roof fixed and the company did not tarp the home before a storm. This has led to water damage in their home, gaping holes in the ceiling with insulation falling into the home, and they now have mold growing in the walls. They recently found out that they will have to move out of their house for a few months while it is restored to livable conditions. This has been Nora and Peter’s reality since moving to Florida.
AND NOW Hurricane Ian. Nora and Peter evacuated their home and headed 3.5 hours south to a hotel with their dog Blue and pet snake. They thankfully are safe and she has continued to work (can you imagine working through all the sleep deprivation, stress, and uncertainty), but they are unsure what they will be going home to.
We are asking for any donations to help the Eiche family in this difficult time of uncertainty, stress, and disaster. For a family that was already dealing with SO much before Hurricane Ian, and now having to deal with more devastation to their home all within 3 months of moving is something that no one should have to endure.
Please help us in raising money for Nora and Peter because we know how much this has taken a toll on their mental health, and we want to send our WI support and love to them during this difficult time.
THANK YOU!
