Love for Mike and Lisa

Jenna here! As most of you know, Mike and Lisa and I have been co-raising Hayden since he was in elementary school. These grandparents go above and beyond for him, and for any other child that comes around! All who know them can vouch that they love big, and they love limitlessly. They have opened their hearts, homes, and pantry to more people than I can count throughout the 20+ years that I have known them. Mike and Lisa have always been there with words of kindness and encouragement for us during some of our darkest hours. They are the epitome of Godly parents, and they would do nearly anything for those they love.

That being said, IT'S OUR TURN!

Recently, Mike had to undergo surgery. What should have been a pretty routine procedure wound up being life-threatening due to complications. After another emergency surgery, he was placed in ICU. He was just moved to a normal room, and with PT, is expected to be able to return home within the next week.

God is truly moving in Mike's favor. The number of prayers that have been sent up for him over the past weeks is insurmountable. We are so grateful for such a family of BELIEVERS in our corner!

As they look forward to coming home, there is a need. Lisa had to take a leave of absence from work, without pay. If you're anything like me, I often want to do something but feel lost at what. Here is our chance. Let's give back to these people who are constantly investing in the lives of others.
