Love For Lynne--Let’s Help Lynne Streit and Her Family Heal
Dear Friends and Family,
As you likely know by now, our dear friend Lynne Streit has suffered an unimaginable loss—that of her son Nicholas, his wife Alisa, and her beloved grandsons Christopher and Tyler in a tragic car accident this past July 23rd as they headed home from a family picnic in the Gold Country.
I know that our hearts are breaking for Lynne and her family, and many of you have asked what you could do to help. So many of you have responded with cards, letters, food, flowers, prayers, love, and help in so many ways. Lynne is so extremely grateful for all of your support and care during this time.
However, the road to mending her crushed and broken heart will be a long one, and she is going to need some very specialized help for quite some time. As one can only imagine, the emotional toll of losing your son and his whole family is not a road to be travelled alone at this point. It is, in a word, debilitating. So, with the help of her loved ones, some very special grief counselors are ready to come alongside Lynne to help her navigate this difficult process.
Sadly, her (and her daughter’s) insurance does not fully cover the cost of counseling and certain parts of it not at all, so here is where you can help! If you can contribute, in any amount, to cover this cost and general expenses for Lynne while she takes time away from work to heal, I know her gratitude would know no bounds.
Thank you for supporting a beautiful person who misses her incredible family terribly. You’re all truly angels with your prayers, love and care for Lynne, her daughter, and her family.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
~Psalm 34:18
