Lokee is the sweetest cat I’ve ever met. He’s incredibly loving, always wanting to be petted, and extremely kind and gentle. Unlike what people say about cats being kind of distant, Lokee is so loving and affectionate with everyone, including children. Sometimes especially children! He lets anyone carry him, rub his belly, and he softly licks us all the time. He used to be so playful, but lately, he’s been in a lot of pain and sleeps much more. Still, whenever he’s awake, he comes over to headbutt me and crawl under my blanket to be close and cosy with me.

Lokee is an absolute fiend for food! He’ll try to steal anything, even if it’s not for cats, and he especially loses his mind for french fries. He gets so excited for treats and loves squeezing into small spaces and bags. His bright blue eyes are so full of emotion, I can always tell how he’s feeling just by looking at him. He’s the most loving and personable cat I’ve ever known, and I’ve known a lot of cats in my life.

Recently, Lokee was hospitalized with a severe bladder infection, UTI, and kidney issues. There is something wrong with his pancreas and he has been in a lot of pain. The ER doctors got him stable, but he still needs more care and a specialist. We’ve used everything we had for his emergency visit, and continuing his treatment is more than we can afford. It destroys me to see him in pain and not be able to help. Lokee is my best friend, and he deserves a healthy, happy life. I want to see him play again and enjoy his days comfortably. I’ve never asked for help before, but right now, I need support to give Lokee the care he deserves. Any help means the world to us and will help Lokee get the treatment he needs to live his life to the fullest.
