LOVE for Lisa & Tweet

Donation protected
Never will we greet this same day again, never will we share this same moment in time so, my love, look at me, hold my hand, let me see your face, your eyes, that I have learned so deeply over our years shared and all too soon for my heart, let us dance together to these last songs of living.

The above words spilled from my fingers as I settled myself to type this message. They may not deliver the tenderness and pain that I am filled with as I compose this request, and I know that by you taking the time to read this, you have your own words and description of the tender feelings in your heart when you think of the lives and love of Georgia "Tweet" Cutler and Lisa Williams.

As most of you will already know, June 6, 2023, also known to Lisa & Tweet as D-Day, Tweet received the diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer. CANCER, a true, legitimate fear for Tweet since losing both parents to cancer all too soon.

For almost 2 years, by faith, determination, strength, LOVE, a positive outlook and support from their families and friends, they fought the fight against this evil disease with every ammunition they could access. Many different chemo combinations, surgery, tubes, port, more tubes, more medicine, expert OC oncologist in Texas, were all part of the process. In January, there was a flash of hope, as they received the results from Tweet's latest scan after a new medication combo was tested. No new tumors, no enlargement of the already present tumors. You can imagine the relief, the exhilaration shared between them. They could actually breathe, and even smile, real smiles at each other. There was hope for sharing them for years to come...until.

A trip to the emergency room and everything changed.

Once they discovered that rapid tumor growth was causing the complications Tweet was experiencing, she was given the devastating news of only 6 months or less to live and went home with Hospice. Her goal is to try to maintain as much quality in the remaining time she has left so she can share it with LISA, family, friends and loved ones.

It quickly became evident that Lisa needed to be there around the clock, so she is home on leave from work.

Lisa has depleted her PAL balance and is in need of PAL to help offset the cost of her payroll deductions, insurance, etc.
She is also not going to be receiving any pay while she is out on FMLA so I am reaching out to ask for help on behalf of Lisa & Tweet. Neither of them would ever agree to letting me do this, so I'll ask forgiveness (easier than permission sometimes).

Lisa will be out for at least 12 weeks with no pay and I know that both Lisa and Tweet are loved by so many as they LOVE so many people and cherish their relationships with each one of us. Please consider donating to this fund to help Lisa with expenses while she is out of work, spending time with and caring for her love, Tweet Cutler. We are unsure of the amount of time Tweet has left, only God knows that, and we are certain that both of them want as much of that time to be together as possible. We can help reduce some stress by helping to cover some financial obligations.

I know that I don't speak only for myself when I say that I am beyond blessed to have met and to have the opportunity to love and be loved by these two amazing women. Tweet was a legend long before I came to work in the same department with Lisa at Cone Health. Tweet was known for baking her famous chocolate chip pound cake or cookies and bringing them to Lisa at work for us all to share in the middle of a long night shift on 3100. Tweet was forever saving Lisa in one way or another from something she had forgotten to do or filling up her vehicle with gas while Lisa slept or making her lunch while she showered for work. So, if you worked with us on the department during that time, you would know the meaning of "Everybody needs a Tweet!"

There is no question about the love and admiration they share for one another. I will always admire them both for how they never took their relationship for granted. Lisa is sticking by Tweet's side as they both try to ingest what is ahead, not knowing how to put the next foot forward on most days. Please PRAY for both of them to have peace in knowing that God is in full control as they endure this journey together. PRAY that Tweet will not suffer in any way or be in fear of what tomorrow brings. PRAY for Lisa as she navigates through the emotional roller coaster of saying goodbye to her Tweet, something she just can't truly imagine having to do.

Your gift of PAL to Lisa Williams if you are a Cone employee and/or your monetary gift toward expenses during this time away from work is more than greatly appreciated and will help her feel the love that surrounds her.

Please keep PRAYING,

Carrie Craver
