Hello! My name is April McGurgan and I started this GoFundMe for our beautiful friend, Lisa Snedker.

As some of you may know, Lisa was diagnosed with stage 4 Uterine Serous Carcinoma on the day after Christmas.

Lisa had been experiencing abnormal bleeding for several months which was believed to be due to fibroids and menopause. In December, she finally landed in the ER due to severe pain and extremely low hemoglobin levels. There she underwent a DNC and her cancer was discovered.

Lisa had an open hysterectomy on January 4, 2024 where they removed her uterus, tubes, ovaries, omentum and several lymph nodes.

Lisa’s treatment protocol is six chemotherapy treatments which she has already begun. This is going to be an especially hard road for Lisa as she has already experienced an adverse reaction to one of the chemo drugs causing her anaphylaxis. Her next scheduled chemo treatment is on March 18th.

Lisa is a hardworking O.R/E.R Nurse and has already been unable to work her regular schedule due to side effects of her treatment as well as having to attend the many necessary appointments with her medical team.

Lisa is a daughter, wife, mother, dedicated professional and friend to many and she needs our help. And if you know Lisa at all, you know that she is a Strong, Independent, Prideful woman. She has always been the one to help others and now she is in need of OUR help !
