Love for Lilyth Round 2

Hi, my name is Megan. My best friend, Rachael Wilcox, and coworker's daughter, Lilyth who is now 6 years old has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma for a second time. In April of this year Lilyth was able to ring the cancer free bell, we all celebrated this joyous occasion. This joy did not last long, in August the spot on Lilyth's leg came back and she was diagnosed again. Lilyth was then sent back to Children's Mercy in Kansas City to have her port put back in place and start her chemo treatments again, she just had her second treatment 2 weeks ago.

Rachael had a zoom meeting today with the hospital and was given some very hard news to hear as a mother of a little girl. Lilyth will be having radiation in addition to the chemo treatments. The hospital will start radiation in January, but Lilyth will have to undergo a procedure to have her ovary moved from one side of her body to the other.

We all know that Lilyth is a warrior, but she will be required to be in the hospital for 3 weeks as they are doing the radiation. Rachael as a single mom will be having to take time off of work to be with her daughter and also find a way to provide for her oldest daughter Danny. Please pray for this family and help if you can. I will update when we know more.
