Our dear Lilly, Ya-Ya, Yeah-Yea, Yee-Yee, Lillita, Muñequita, needs us. The one who has been there for all of us, who has dropped everything to run to us in our time of need, the one who has a smile in every - EVERY situation and knows how to tune into what others need is now in need herself. It’s our turn to step up.
Lilly has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. As a per diem employee who doesn’t get sick leave or vacation time, she will need our help. She can’t work and is going to need treatments such as chemotherapy as well as a revamped space to accommodate her new reality. We are asking for any assistance that you can give to support her and her family in this difficult time. She will need things as simple as groceries and as complex as special nutrient-dense shakes that she can drink and digest easily. She will need help with medical bills and hospital visits, as well as transportation to and from these places.
Cancer is a terrible thing, but our Lill is prepared for the fight. With your support, she will have a better chance of making it back to her best shape to continue to bring sunshine in those cloudy days. Thank you.
