Meet Lenny — Our Brave Little Fighter

Lenny is just 23 months old — a bright-eyed, giggly, curious little girl who, until recently, was a healthy toddler chasing bubbles, climbing everything in sight, and lighting up every room with her laughter.

On April 8th, 2025, our world changed. Lenny was diagnosed with a 3.5-inch tumor wrapped around her left kidney. Overnight, our days became filled with hospital rooms, scans, and meetings with an incredible pediatric team. Her treatment plan began immediately: chemotherapy to shrink the tumor, with the plan for surgery to remove her kidney, and more chemo to give her the best chance at recovery.

But on April 17th, our lives turned upside down again — Lenny coded for nearly an hour.

We were told she didn’t make it.

And then, against all odds, she gave us a heartbeat. 

Our little girl came back.

Since then, Lenny has undergone multiple abdominal surgeries and a craniotomy. She is still undergoing chemotherapy for her underlying cancer. And yet, through it all, Lenny continues to amaze us.

Every single day, she’s showing strength, resilience, and a spirit that inspires everyone around her. Her journey is far from over, but we’re holding onto hope. We believe in her recovery, in the power of love and community, and in Lenny’s fierce will to fight.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden that comes with a battle like this — covering the costs of chemotherapy, surgeries, hospital stays, travel, time away from work, and the many unexpected expenses that pile up along the way.
