10/10 Update: Kristine and their children experienced the unspeakable loss of Nick on Wednesday, October 9. We, her crazy little online MCM-loving friends, are continuing to support her and their children any way we can. [original post for reference] When someone has provided such a level of support and love and fun and amazing times, they deserve our love. Many of you have been following Kristine Gilbert-Gigante’s story and the health issues her amazing husband Nick is facing. She has been such a fierce force within this group and an outspoken advocate of mental health and of just being damn decent people—things highly needed right now in our country. We all know the travel costs for her to be with her husband are expensive, much less the exorbitant cost of the health care for him.
