Thank you is not sufficient for the gratitude I feel. For the kindness of strangers, I cannot say enough. Money raised will go towards the following: gutting and remodeling bathroom, fixing flooring, replacing front doors, fixing deck damage, new refrigerator, power washing and painting outside of mobile home, ceiling repairs, tree removal, purchasing a car to get to and from work, and living expenses while recovering from knee surgery.

In August of 2020, Cedar Rapids, Iowa was hit with a derecho (land hurricane), and my home of 23 years was damaged. I applied for FEMA help and went through the appeal process three times, all denied.

The first $22,000 will go towards home repairs, and money raised beyond that will go towards purchasing a car and living expenses while I recover from knee surgery.
