Love for Julie and family

On Friday 12/13/2019 Julie drove herself to the hospital because she was not feeling right. When arriving to the Emergency room they found she had a brain aneurysm. The aneurysm ruptured and she was rushed into surgery in which they removed skull bone around 6 inches in diameter. Julie was then flown to University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City where her family soon followed. Cory, Brock, Bryton, Richard and her dad made their way to Salt Lake to be with Julie as she was very touch and go. She arrived to the Utah hospital in critical condition. She was in a medical coma till having her second surgery to repair the aneurysm itself. The nurse that Julie's brother, Richard, spoke with today indicated that her aneurysm was the biggest they have seen being about the size of a quarter in the scans. They repaired the aneurysm with 8 coils which were applied from the inside of the artery. She has been taken off of the drugs that were keeping her in the medical coma, and is now on pain medications to keep her from moving to much. She is not fully conscious but has been responding to the nurses by grabbing their finger and wiggling her toes. Since she did not suffer a stoke in surgery they are only watching for complication going forward. She will be in the Neuro Critical Care unit for 14 days minimum. Our hope in creating this is that when Julie is able to come home some stress will be relieved from her and her family. She has a long road ahead of her. Thank you for taking your time to read this and helping in anyway you can. We will add updates as they come.
