Jacob's Heart Healing Journey

Hello kind humans,

Some of my closest friends, Justin and Sarah gave birth to their second son, Jacob less than 5 months ago. He was born with CHD (congenital heard disease) and since his birth, his parents have been balancing work, raising their 4 year old and taking care of little Jacob.

I will be transparent - as a third party I am not aware of all of the details of the condition but I know there have been many appointments and tests since he was born and just 2 days ago he went through heart surgery at Sick Kids in Toronto and has a long recovery ahead. This means time away from work and time away from their 4 year old (who is in great hands, but away from mom and dad). I know this family won't ask for help themselves so I, along with their families, are doing it for them. Let's try to give them some peace of mind in this small way so that all of their attention can go to their kids.
