Love for Hilary

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help financially relieve the medical bills of  Hilary Cairns, a loving, 62 year old, single mother of two, who has been living with Melanoma for 11 years. Hilary is a brave, kind soul who spreads positivity wherever she goes. Her son, Caleb, 22 years old, has been their family's main financial support for some time but the circumstances changed when she received a terminal diagnosis in January of 2021. Hilary was given 6 months to 1 year left with her family. Since January, she has required round the clock care. Caleb took on this role as caretaker and has been unable to work due to providing the support Hilary has needed for the past 6 months.

The funds donated to this GoFundMe will provide integral support for her two children in a number of ways. Over the past 11 years, Hilary has required various treatments and lengthy hospital stays. The funds donated will go towards medical bills (but is not limited to) such as : intravenous treatments, radiation treatments, and surgeries. Hilary is now requiring more support than Caleb himself can provide, and these funds will allow for an on-call nurse to assist in home care through her fight in these last days. For any additional funds donated, Caleb will be able to support the care of his older sister, Hannah, who is Autistic.
