Love for Dewey and his family

I’m fundraising to help my friends Dewey and Kathleen during this difficult,heartbreaking time. May 24th 2022, Dewey went to the hospital for a sore left leg. Doctors did a lot of tests and found a mass on his brain. Kathleen drove him to St.Mike’s Hospital at 3am and was still in disbelief that this would be more than an operation. Dewey is always the healthiest one in the bunch which made this even more hard to believe.He was admitted and had the operation within 3 days. It was sent for a biopsy and he heard the horrible news it was cancerous. Dewey was diagnosed with glioblastoma. The family was told it was very fast moving and aggressive and that it was terminal. Deweys children are our main concern they have been resilient and brave during this nightmare. Dewey has done amazingly well this past year but unfortunately things have progressed. Kathleen will need time off work to care for Dewey, time to be with their kids, get him to appointments and focus on family. To do this as many people have it takes a toll financially. Dewey is one of the good ones. He never has a bad word for anyone and will help anyone as much as he can. He is truly a really good person and we are all sad and in disbelief that this is happening.
